Every first Sunday of the month, the Global Communion Service with Pastor Chris airs live on healingstreams.tv. Not only is this a time of breaking bread, but Pastor Chris also shares God’s Word and direction for the new month.

The Holy Communion is not new to the body of Christ as it began with the Lord Jesus Christ. ". . . the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me." (1 Corinthians 11:23-25).

While Jesus walked on earth, He was vigorous, and His body was full of life and health. He was never sick.

At the cross, God took all our ailments and diseases and put them on Jesus’ body. He bore all our sicknesses so that we would walk in divine health. Now, we have divine health, the Holy Spirit, and salvation. This is not a promise, it’s a reality for all who have come to know the Lord Jesus.

His loving instruction is that we partake in the Holy Communion in remembrance of Him. Jesus wants you conscious that His body was broken for your wholeness, and His blood was shed for the remission of your sins. Whenever we break bread and take the cup, we proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes (1 Corinthians 11:26).

Even as the second coming of Christ draws nearer, greater things are being done by the Holy Spirit in and through His Church. Many have testified of the amazing miracles which have continued from Bible days. Margaret is one such evidence that God’s Word is truth and life. She received healing in her knees just from watching and following the instructions of the Spirit. For several years, she had this numbing pain in her knees that no amount of painkillers could remove. The pain worsened when she took long walks or stood for too long. She started watching Healing Streams TV on weekends and was blessed by the different programs. The day she got her miracle, she had made up her mind that she would suffer no more. When Reverend Ray (a senior minister at the Healing School) was praying for the sick on the program (How to Receive a Miracle), the power of God came over her. She received the Word and thanked the Lord because she knew He had done it. Since that day, there has been no pain or discomfort. She can stand and walk as much as she wants now.

When we break bread, we are declaring that divine life flows in our physical bodies. And when we take the cup, we are declaring that we have been made righteous.
