A miracle is the supernatural intervention of God in the natural affairs of men; a divine intervention that surpasses human reasoning, ability, science, and logic.

At certain times in life, one may be in dire need of this divine intervention. When the doctors have exhausted all medical options, in extreme mental health battles, living with excruciating pains, and watching loved ones bedridden and suffering daily; it’s time for a miracle. One may become desperate, bankrupt, broken, and hopeless. Does it really have to end this way?  

Over the years, lots of people around the world have testified of the divine healing that has caused sickness and pain to go forever. The life of Christ is replete with such miracles and testimonies. On one particular occasion, a woman who had suffered from the issue of blood for 12 years, was instantly healed at the touch of His garment. In the book of Mark, she’s described thus, “And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.”

Some question if God wants to heal them. Yes, he does. It says in Jeremiah 30:17 “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord.” Halima is a 53-year-old Canadian who lived with breast cancer and suffered adverse side effects of eight failed chemotherapy sessions, she received complete wholeness through her participation in the Healing Streams Live Healing Services with Pastor Chris. The doctor’s reports came back finding no trace of cancer in her body! Joy and hope were immediately restored in Halima’s life.

People sometimes wonder why they haven’t received a miracle. Some have lived with critical conditions for months and even years. Truth is, as much as Jesus wants you well, there are also certain steps you must take to receive and retain your miracle.  

First of all, hearing and believing, there needs to be a hearing of God’s Word concerning the situation. One’s belief in these words is what will align one on the right course for a miracle. A mother catering to a sick child needs to believe that her child can be strong again. That woman whose chemotherapy has failed, needs to believe that she has the life of Christ in her and that she’s not going to die of breast cancer.

Say it: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits” Proverbs 18:21. After hearing and believing, the next step is to SPEAK! Saying the right things concerning one’s self and loved ones will cause a compelling desire to manifest. A consistent affirmation of only that which is good and pleasant; these words must be said until it becomes evident.
